Trash Hero Sanur volunteers, alongside The Green Team Sanur, held a presentation at the University of Environment, Culture and Heritage Faculty in Bali, Indonesia today. Their aim is to spread awareness about environmental issues, in particular the problems with trash. Informing the local community about this very real situation affecting the islands of Thailand, Indonesia, Bali and Philippines is a very important thing and the presentation was a huge success.

25 August 2015 – We are thrilled to announce that Trash Hero Thailand has received a very prestigious award from the Protection Area Regional Office 5 of Thailand’s National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation Department. The inscription on the plaque, which was presented by Region 5 Director Mr. Jirasak Chukwamdee, reads:

4 November 2014 – We are thrilled to announce that we have won a “Highly Commended” award of the Thai Green Excellence Awards. These awards are intended to highlight and further promote Thailand’s dedication to the conservation of the country’s precious natural and cultural resources, and support sustainable tourism development.
The awards were presented by Her Royal Highness Princess of Thailand Ubol Ratanarachakanya Siriwatanaphanwadi in London who kindly present the Awards at a prestigious ceremony hosted during the World Travel Market on 3 November 2014. Find the full list of winners here.
