30 January 2016 – Trash Hero Koh Lanta

39 people from 11 countries participated in the first Trash Hero Koh Lanta cleanup today! What a gift to have so many volunteers present for two hours, while we cleaned parts of Long Beach and the park. Overall, we collected 30 bags of various trash plus 3 big bags of recyclables… 150 kg in total.

เมื่อวานนี้พวกเรา Trash Hero Koh Lanta ได้สร้างปาฏิหารย์เล็กๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นจากการรวมพลกันของฮีโร่ทั้ง 39 ชีวิต จาก 11 ประเทศ ที่มาร่วมกันทำความสะอาดชายหาดที่จัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในโครงการ Trash Hero Koh Lanta CleanUp
เวลากว่า 2 ชั่วโมงที่ทุกคนได้ร่วมกันทำความสะอาดชายหาดบริเวณสวนสาธารณะพระแอะ และส่วนหนึ่งของหาดลองบีช ซึ่งขยะที่เก็บได้นั้นมีมากกว่า 30 ถุง ซึ่งมีถึง 3 ถุงที่เราสามารถนำกลับไปใช้ใหม่ได้ รวมกันแล้วมีน้ำหนักกว่า 150 กิโลกรัม
ความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนจากท่านถือเป็นของขวัญอันสุดวิเศษสำหรับพวกเรา ทางเรารู้สึกซาบซึ้งและขอขอบพระคุณเป็นพิเศษต่อ สมาคมธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวเกาะลันตา (Lanta Tourism Association) โอเอซิส โยคะ (Oasis Yoga), KoHub, โรงแรม Casuarina Resort, ร้าน Siam Home Bakery, โรงเรียนภาษาสากลลันตา (Lanta International Language School), ร้าน The Living Room และ Ian Kendall, รวมถึงช่างภาพของเรา Kate Harmon และ Khun Oh.
หากเราร่วมมือกัน เราสามารถสร้างปาฏิหาริย์ให้เกิดขึ้นได้ มาร่วมมือกับเราในการทำให้เกาะลันตาสะอาด ปราศจากขยะ พบกันทุกวันอาทิตย์ เวลา 4 โมงเย็น ณ สวนสาธารณะพระแอะ
